PTE Exam / UKVI Exam Pattern - General|Academic

The PTE Academic, PTE General, and PTE Academic UKVI assess a candidate’s English proficiency through four integrated modules — Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening — designed to evaluate both academic excellence and real-world communication skills. The Speaking module, conducted first, requires candidates to record responses via a microphone and is evaluated on pronunciation, fluency, content, and overall communicative ability through advanced AI scoring (Academic/UKVI) or structured evaluation (General). The Writing module measures the ability to produce clear, coherent, and well-structured responses, including summaries and essays, with emphasis on grammar, vocabulary, and organization. The Reading module tests comprehension, logical interpretation, and vocabulary through tasks such as multiple-choice questions, re-ordering paragraphs, and fill-in-the-blanks, while the Listening module assesses the ability to understand spoken English, identify key information, and respond accurately to audio-based tasks.

At The Nest English Premium Institute, we provide a result-oriented, exam-focused training approach tailored for both Academic and General formats, combining concept clarity, strategic techniques, and intensive practice. Students can further enhance their performance through full-length mock tests and section-wise practice on Alfa PTE, enabling them to track progress, improve accuracy, and build confidence for achieving high scores.
